As a webmaster interested in my own search rankings, I have come across many very good travel websites burried deep on page 5 or 10 of google. So the first tip is to look further into the results for the best content.
Currently I am developing an oppotunity to try travel advertising for free and at a great on going price. The plan is to get all the top travel sites onboard inorder to put together the top collection of travel websites. If you come across any great travel sites please point them in the right direction.
Some very high quality travel content is written by webmasters who are unaware of how to get high rankings. With the power of social bookmarking sites internet surfers have the ability to boost the best travel sites in the search results. These services allow users to vote for the content they like. This results in highly rates pages being easy to find on the in house search results. Unfortunately many great articles are not listed.
An excellent service that is being developed called travel web pages can also help. This is a collection of travel articles by top independent travel sites. Once you have scoured the web to no avail try other sources such as the library or knowlegable friends and publish your finding on the web. You can get the information on the web fast using the same service.

Use a “P.S.” at the end of your ad copy. This is were you either want to repeat a strong benefit or use a strong close like a free bonus. Publish a free ebook and give it away from your web site or in your e-zine. This will increase your traffic, sales and e-zine subscribers.
Create multiple streams of income with your web site. You could sell your own products, join affiliate programs, sell advertising space, etc. Give your visitors compliments in your ad copy. This can earn their trust and put them in a good mood, in return they will be easier to sell too.
Sell your backend products to your customers right after they order. Take them to a “Thank You” web page that includes other products you sell. Sell a few products on your web site instead of selling a large amount of products. To many choices can overwhelm your visitors and they won’t buy. Sell gift certificates for your products.
